Hello hello fellow book bloggers and readers! I’d like to apologise for not being oh so active in the first week of November. 😦
You wanna know why? Well, I participated this annual National Book Writing Month or NaNoWriMo this year. Yay! 😀 right. I’m currently on my 10,000 word count and still counting. I’m writing a book titled Fire and Blood, its a YA novel about a girl whot got crimson red air and a fiery anger inside her that she didn’t know where from and the only thing she knows is that she hates the king and is kind of falling for this arrogant pale blonde haired rebel from the Black mask gang. So far that’s all I know about my story and the plot is yet to be developed but take note of this: there are going to be dragons on my novel. Because I love dragons and I so wanna write about them.
So guys is you are doing NaNoWriMo, feel free to add me on your buddy list, name’s Danissa Macaraig. Let’s go inspire each other, gulp down mugs of coffee and finish the novel that we’ve been wanting to write and hit that 50,000 word count!
Enough of the NaNoWriMo stuff, here a re-cap of all the bookish news that you probably missed the past ten days.

Mara Dyer Spin-off series!
Yes M.A.D.N.E.S.S. fans you heard it right, Mara Dyer trilogy is going to have a spin-off series called “The Shaw Confessions”. The book’s Vol. 1 is going to come out this 2017 (let’s go cry together corner) and it will be published by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers.
The series will be told from the point of view of character Noah Shaw, and will explain “what happens after the happily ever after,” according to the publisher. Noah’s father is murdered in the first book of The Shaw Confessions, and while Noah inherits both knowledge and wealth beyond his wildest dreams, he also has a chance to find others like himself. As Noah and Mara begin their search for others, it becomes clear that they have vastly different goals — and Noah must choose between the girl he loves and world peace.
“When I wrote the first words of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, I knew that I was writing an antiheroine’s original story,” says Hodkin in a release. “What I didn’t know was how many readers would ask for the adventures of that antiheroine and her hero: both powerful, both in love, and almost certain to destroy each other. I always wanted to tell the story of the choices the characters would make and the risks they would take after they discovered who and what they really were, and I’m thrilled to finally have that chance. Readers may think they know Noah Shaw, but there’s so much more to tell.”

Zaria Fierce and the Enchated Drakeland Sword Book Release!
The second book of Keira Gillet’s Zaria Fierce trilogy was released last November 6 2015 and guess who got a digital copy in exchange for an honest review?
Check out the book here:
If Zaria Fierce had her say, being a princess would mean you’d never have to wait for news. In the eight months since Olaf tricked her, Zaria has felt a near constant mixture of restlessness, listlessness, and hopelessness. When the time comes to fix past mistakes, she is more than ready to climb aboard the ship sailing towards the giants. Summertime in Norway promises many more adventures, but also many more perils… something sinister lurks beneath the surface following her every move, haunting her, disturbing her dreams, and stealing her peace. Can Zaria figure out what it is and stop it before it’s too late?
Since this month I’m gonna be all NaNoWrimo, here’s a list of the books that I might read this month when I’m not staring at my screen waiting for the characters that I’m writing about to speak their thoughts in my head.
- Zaria Fierce and the Enchanted Drakeland Sword by Kiera Gillett
- Gudsriki by Ari Bach
- The Rose Society by Marie Lu
- Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch
- Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
